Sugar appear in our foods with many names and in many forms. Listed below are the different
'names' for sugar.Look out for these names if you want to avoid sugar. A food is likely to be high
in sugar if one of the terms appears first or second in the ingredient list or if several of them are
listed.No form of sugar is "more healthy" than white sugar.
Sugar is also known as:

- Brown sugar.

- Sucrose.

Set a healthy example for the young. Avoid soft drinks,sweets, chocolates and other high-sugar
junk foods. And don't stock your fridge with soft drinks and confectionery.
Don't give your children chocolates and sweets as a form of reward or to show your love
for them. Make vegetables and fruits appealing to children and explain the benefits of these
foods to them.Make them attractive and colourful- children love colours, bright rows of carrots,
green beans, cauliflower "trees" or cookie-shape sandwiches will appeal to children.
